The entire layout is subject to a strictly rectangular layout. The central corridor passes through the centre of the house and thus connects the whole building longitudinally.
Functionally, it offers three main parts:
The living room, the open kitchen with a luxurious island, which flows directly into the dining area. This part of the layout is directly adjacent to a large outdoor terrace with its own summer kitchen, seating, tables and a tree island. The terrace is directly adjacent to the natural swimming pool with swimming and plant filtration area.
This core of the house is open not only to the garden but also to the opposite side. With the help of HS portals, the interior thus flows into the exterior and vice versa.
All living rooms thus face the generous garden with a pond. The service rooms, on the other hand, are oriented towards the property boundary. The garden also includes a house for storing garden furniture with a wine cellar, a sunken seating area with a fireplace and finally a separate building for the SPA.
The latter is not only generous, but is related in height to the water level. This offers a very specific garden that provides a program for even the most demanding.
In the south wing, on the other hand, there is a parents’ zone, a study and technical rooms. The house includes a garage for two cars and an attached carport for additional parking. Materially, the building is designed as a combination of stone cladding and wooden slats to enhance the connection with the garden.
As part of the project, we also designed a garden where the main part consists of a natural pond with a deeper swimming area, a paddling pool and a cooling pool for the SPA. A shallow filtration section will then ensure clean water even during the hottest months.
Like the building, the garden has a linear character. The water area flows seamlessly into the living area. There is a sunken seating area and a basic badminton court.
New trees and shrubs are proposed for the garden. There will be a small orchard and fruit garden at the southern boundary of the site.
