The investor’s intention was to build a weekend house on a sloping plot of land, offering beautiful views of the Jeseníky Mountains and Bouzov Castle while respecting the surrounding landscape. The project brief also included addressing the concept and utilization of the garden, as well as the placement of a smaller second house for visitors. The study resulted in two design options.
Option A consists of two volumes with pitched roofs, oriented perpendicularly to the slope. The composition is complemented by a linear cube that follows the contour lines of the plot. The left part of the house features a spacious split-level living room with a kitchen and dining area, bedrooms, a garage, and the house’s facilities.
The right part includes a compact spa area with a sauna, a whirlpool, and an indoor pool. Everything is designed to maximize the panoramic views of the landscape. The architectural design of the house combines three main materials: wood, stone, and anthracite.
