The complex access at a family house in Lysolaje is solved with a barrier-free ramp and modern staircase. The street level is five meters higher than the rest of the property, allowing the garage to be situated on the second floor.
Due to the specific location of the plot in relation to the adjacent road, the building appears to be only one floor high from the street level. This optical illusion is advantageous to us. The entire structure appears much smaller from the street than it actually is.
A nighttime view reveals the level of integration with the exterior. In the case of the Linear House, it is quite impressive. The entire wall of the living room and a portion of the kitchen wall visually connect with the garden.
Thanks to the layout and the massing in the living room, a spacious area with high ceilings is created. This allows light from the south to illuminate a significant portion of the interior.
Wood, concrete, black, and white are the key elements in designing this interior. These elements are often positioned in the center of the walls. The effect of symmetry is occasionally disrupted by carefully selected and strategically placed elements. The resulting irregularity, in fact, enhances the overall symmetry.
