Na Mariánské cestě presents a series of visualizations of a residential project, articulating the proposed character of the site in its spatial, material, and atmospheric qualities.
The urban design concept is rooted in a compact yet permeable structure of apartment buildings that creates clearly defined, spatially hierarchical public and semi-public spaces. Emphasis is placed on the legibility of the whole and the natural connections between architecture, landscape, and the everyday life of its residents.
The defining motif of the design is the inner courtyard, conceived as a shared space for gathering, leisure, and informal activities. This space is not merely a complement to the residential fabric — it is its integral core, fostering community life and enhancing the quality of living.
The visualizations capture not only the architectural character of individual buildings, but also the nature of pedestrian routes, outdoor amenity spaces, planting elements, and small-scale infrastructure. It is precisely these layers that together define an environment that is legible, liveable, and sustainable.
An integral part of the design is the incorporation of water and planting features, which contribute to the microclimatic stability of the site and support its ecological function.
The project as a whole represents a contemporary approach to residential development, with an emphasis on the quality of public space, the relationship to the landscape, and the overall spatial and atmospheric continuity of the place.
