This complex residential project not only promises modern design, but also offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the unique Prague skyline. At the same time, it remains very respectful of its surroundings.
The context and conditions for the creation of the building specified a unique floor plan and material solution. This allowed for an interesting integration of modern architecture into the context of the adjacent development, the planned cable car and natural bio-corridors.
The building must not obstruct views from the existing development. This gave rise to receding floors and gradual lowering of individual segments. The smooth and rhythmic height profile recedes at points where the residents have their main views of the whole of Prague from the surrounding development.
At the same time, a cable car is to run through the site in the future, giving the building a second limit. The architectural design thus responds to these conditions and also gives space to the future plan in the footprint. The building thus becomes rounded in plan. It only appears in three quadrants of the plot.
The unique shape thus also provides a significant connection between the interior and the outdoor spaces of the terraces and the park. This offers the residents not only views from different perspectives, but also quality conditions and comfort for everyday life.
Part of the mass on the ground floors gives way to the utility protection zones, which creates the possibility of having a public space on the roof of the house, accessible to wheelchair users.
The urban space is connected to the modernist structure, while the park space is connected to the existing woodland.
Several passageways have been created under the building, also a public space used for recreation, equipped for leisure activities and a gazebo at the intersection of the axes of the main through directions of the site.
The residential project is characterized by sloping green roofs that combine the principles of public and semi-public space. A public terrace is designed on the top of the house, serving as an additional place for gathering and relaxation.
The Troja Views project represents a unique combination of modern architecture with the surrounding environment, creating a unique and comfortable living space with respect to aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.
