The initial intention of the design for the new bistro was to visually clean and unify the space. Therefore, most of the interior elements are designed in a more neutral color palette. The investor’s requirement for originality, which would attract the attention of potential customers on the bustling Milady Horákové street, is addressed through striking light installations placed in various areas. Their programmable control system allows for controlling the intensity and color of individual light sources, ranging from subtle, muted tones to more vibrant color combinations. The purpose of this solution was to create the possibility of changing the mood inside the interior and to visually captivate potential visitors. The unique lighting elements were designed and custom-made by Marek Šilpoch. The original plan included a floor with a gray concrete decor and light-colored walls. However, after uncovering layers of paint during renovations, the decision was made to leave some areas of the walls and ceiling exposed. Their raw but pleasant natural texture intentionally breaks up the extensive white surfaces, creating a less sterile impression. The white shapes are retained around the light objects to further emphasize their placement within the interior. On certain surfaces, inversely executed patterns related to the main specialty served, cheese balls, are intentionally preserved.
