Our proposal for the revitalization of the morphologically diverse area along Horská Street aims to transform this currently neglected space into a high-quality public area and functionally connect it to the neighboring and well-functioning landscape units of Folimanka, Ztracenka, and Bastion.
The integration with the surroundings is one of the fundamental pillars of our design. We strive to achieve this by respecting and preserving the existing natural character of the area while sensitively incorporating new elements or transforming existing urbanized elements to create a functional, well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and material-cohesive whole.
The new elements we propose, led by the garden restaurant, visually and optically harmonize with the monumental historical fortification. They tastefully introduce the expected functions into this intriguing area through a logical compositional arrangement.
We believe that with this proposal, we will breathe new life into the area and that it will become a sought-after destination for visitors, not only from the immediate vicinity but also as a shining example of a modern approach to revitalizing public spaces in the Czech Republic, thanks to its unique and wild atmosphere.
